Missions That Matter

When But Why Tho? the podcast started growing, we knew right away that we wanted to use our platform to do some good. When we started going to conventions we realized that although we talk about pop culture, there people in the world using that to do good. In this series, we interview charities, organizations, and people who are using the love of different parts of pop culture to do good in the world.

We’ve spoken with the military gaming charity Stack Up, who use the power of gaming to empower veterans and highlight the need for suicide prevention in the community. We’ve also had the pleasure of speaking with 1 Up On Cancer, a charity that raises money to pay the medical bills of adults in the gaming community with cancer. And we’ve also talked with Nerdtino, the first Latinx focused comic con in the North East.
